New Farmers’ Market in Notting Hill

A shiny new farmers’ market is opening in Notting Hill. Expect fresh produce, hot and cold food and a lot of noming on my part!

Starting from Notting Hill, the tour will guide you across the borough, going through numerous locations such as Knightsbridge and the famous King’s Road.

Notting Hill’s Travel Bookshop rescued by Book Warehouse

Notting Hill’s famous Travel Bookshop was rescued by the Book Warehouse after it fell into administration earlier this month. The bookshop, just off Portobello Road, was made famous by the rom-com Notting Hill starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.

The Book Warehouse has acquired the the lease for The Travel Bookshop on Portobello Road. The bookshop, established in 1979, recently fell into administration, closing its doors last Sunday.
